well since the image takes the place the background can't say u can change the color

but the gir extended network is a tad messed up
.blacktext12 {font-family:arial; font-size:10px; color:ACC284; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; letter-spacing: -3px; text-transform: lowercase; padding: 0px; line-height: 15px; cursor:default; width:300px; height:300px; background-image:url(http://cb img9.com/layouts/07/07/10/1929 6ab.png); background-position:bottom right; background-repeat:no-repeat; background-color:A4BB7A;}

c hange that to

.blacktext12 {font-family:arial; font-size:10px; color:ACC284; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; letter-spacing: -3px; text-transform: lowercase;}
span.blacktext12 {
background-color: transparent; background-image: url('http://cbimg9.com/layout s/07/07/10/19296ab.png'); background-color:A4BB7A; width: 300px; height: 300px; display: block;}

if you don't want the text to show up change 10px to 0 and you just get the image

its not so much what broswer i'm using png images tend to do that
the colors are usually off by a few shades even if the color code doesn't change
